Bringing Bond to Fareham: ‘Licence to Thrill’ Charity Concert

For one night only, Sunday 15th May, at 7.30pm, Ferneham Hall in Fareham will have its very own ‘Licence to Thrill’ as it stages a glittering Bond-themed charity

concert. Make tracks to this fantastic venue and enjoy an evening of big band music with a touch of James Bond magic.

The stunning London Movie Orchestra and West End singers Miranda Wilford & Angie Mills will bring many well-loved theme songs from the Bond films to life.

Expect to be treated to a number of classic Bond soundtracks, many composed by the incomparable John Barry OBE, such as Goldfinger and From Russia with Love.

The Musical Director is Trevor Brown, who has directed five Royal Variety Performances and many well-known TV shows.

The concert has been arranged by Whiteley Rotary Club to raise money for two deserving local charities; the University of Southampton's Centre for Cancer

Immunology – where research has already shown the ability of the body’s own system to kill cancer cells without the need for chemotherapy/radiotherapy; and the

Rowans Hospice that provides care for local people.

Tickets cost £18.50 each or £17.50 with a Fareham Leisure Card. Tickets can be booked from Ferneham Hall Box Office: Telephone 01329 231942 or visit

www.fernehamhall.co.uk\booking-info. There is plenty of parking near the venue.
