It’s red carpet time as the village of Wickham gets set to welcome the return of this popular Summer Music Festival after two years away. Wickham Parish Council has agreed to sponsor an extended programme of free childrens entertainment at the Festival while local traders have promised festival-goers a warm and friendly welcome in the many attractive shops, bistros, restaurants, pubs and wine bars in Wickham’s historic village square. Wickham was recently voted Hampshire’s most attractive village and all who attended the 2006 & 2007 Festivals agreed that Wickham provides one of the most picturesque settings for a Festival anywhere in the UK.
